How to register and search on Hubzu.com

In this video we’ll cover (1) how to register with Hubzu and (2) how to search and navigate Hubzu. Registering with Hubzu is simple and it’s free! From the main page of the site, click on the Register and Sign in link in the top right corner. Select the “Register” option, fill out your information in the provided fields and click “Register.”

To verify your identity, you’ll then need to input your address information. To do this, simply log in and navigate to ‘My Profile’ by clicking on your account icon at the top right of the page. Now, you’re ready to place a bid. Keep in mind that some auctions might have additional requirements before placing a bid, like a bid deposit. However, you don’t have to register to search for available properties, but if you want to place a bid, you’ll need to do so.

Searching on Hubzu is very easy. Using the search box on Hubzu.com, you can search by city, county, state, address, assessor’s parcel number or property ID. Once you’ve started your search, you’ll see a list of available properties with useful information you need right up front like the property address, number of beds and baths, square footage, how much time is left in the auction, and the starting or current highest bid.

At the top of the search results page, you can also elect to filter your search by a variety of options. The More Filters section will help you sort more granularly, whether you’re looking for properties that are hot right now, have had their prices reduced or are cash only. There’s plenty more filters to be found here, which further narrow your search and help you find what you’re looking for! Hubzu also allows you to filter by properties that are currently vacant or have a self-showing lockbox. This is perfect for those who want to tour the property on their own or with an agent prior to bidding.

To view additional details of a property, simply click anywhere on the property card or the view details button. This takes you to the property detail page. On this page, Hubzu consolidates useful information to view at a glance. We try to provide you as much information as possible to do your due diligence before placing a bid. For example, if you’re looking to rent out your new investment property, Hubzu offers a RentRange estimate on all properties which will help you get an idea on how much rental income the property might bring. We recommend that you do your due diligence prior to bidding, including reading over the Disclaimers & Additional Information section. Placing a bid is easy – simply select the amount that you’d like to bid and click “Place Bid” and follow the simple instructions. Click here to view our video on how to bid on Hubzu.
